Quite interesting. Having had some dealings with both Managers. I think Adie has the potential to go a lot higher and if you think your budget is gash... try being on Adies!

Also a few decent results and you are doing really well and the Daish out crowd have shut up.

Two very good managers in North Kent and 2 clubs doing very nicely, may it continue for a long time.

The Daish out crowd have shut up because there is no longer any reason to wish it.

Gone are the days of grim, route 1 football, launching the ball forward into orbit, hoping out 5'8" centre forward could outjump towering defenders.

Gone are the days of pointless, 89th minute substitutions, in the vain hope of winning a lost cause.

The way I see it, we have a new team, new tactics and a "new" manager.

Long may it continue. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In a sh*t league. Our cast offs, the team that quite comfortably kept us up last season, are not doing to well at a level 2 below our own. A guy that can get results out of not brilliant players is one that deserves respect in my view. Do you even know what Daish's budget is? I happen to know that Margate are on a bigger budget than us.

Route one football will still occur on occasions, though, as the last couple of games have shown. Like nearly all teams, we play it long when the opposition are nullifying us - it's only natural, and nothing to be ashamed of. The difference this season (again, shown by the last two matches) seems to be that we are able to play enough more aesthetically pleasing football alongside this in order to pick up results.

Some conditions, like, for a while, against Woking, suit long ball play. E.G. When it's raining, playing against big chunky, slow defenders and instead of playing intricate passing, where we're more likely to fall over, we can play a ball over the top and utalise the pace of Luke and Charlie against the slow defenders. Plus there'd be no chance of the ball rolling of the pitch like it would normally.
