So is the 'party' definitely going to be at Hoddesdon then on the 23rd, nice one, I'll wear my bullet proof vest but as I've said before you'll see that I'm really an okay gay I mean guy.

Where do you think I got the helpful information from for Paula about banning Chelsea tractors, I see that National sales have more than halved in the last week. On the topic of this thread you're lucky I'm not like Gavin having a moan about hijacking it, the views are going to be in their thousands by 17 January at this rate although no doubt Potters Bar Town will take it upon himself to create a new replacement thread in early January.

isn't that the kind of 'leak' of information that could cause embarassment if it it got in the wrong hands rhodes. not trying to bring the government down are you?

Folks - I see that that a Brimsdown Rovers fan has signed up to the Forum although hasn't posted as yet. Don't be shy, why not kick off on this thread and give your view on the Division 1 'Cup Final' on 17 January.

Folks - Thought I would resurrect this thread with 'the big one' just three days away. I heard on the gravevine that 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers are running scared and even phoned me up yesterday after our impressive win over Cranfield to find out the score. Lee Scott is virtually unplayable at the moment however we may even rest him on Wednesday to make more of a game of it.

Now that the great day approaches, I expect collective buttocks in the Brimsdown area are being tightly clenched. Could it be that such nerves are in shreads at Ampthill, Bedford Utd., Brache Sparta, Cockfosters, Harpenden Town and Stony Stratford all still share an interest in the competition or has "Kentish Town" already been engraved on the trophy. Lucky you are drawn away at Ampthill or Bedford next and by the way could you remind us where your trophy cabinet is, remember we might find Bin Laden there.

I still think the SSML will send the trophy down to Brimsdown's ground on Wednesday evening as, lets face it, it is the final. You will all find out soon where we propose to display the trophy should we win it, all will be revealed before to long and I think one or two eyebrows might well be raised, Mr Spock style.

Could it be that KTFC, being argueably Islington's second club, space could be found in a corner of the trophy cabinet at The Emirates. I am sure Mr Wenger won't mind but I don't know what Brimsdown and the other Quarter-finalists might think. Still as you say, Cranfield and Arlesey are the best teams(apart from KTFC)in the Division, there is obviously no other serious opposition. About as believable as Star Trek.

Yes thanks Paula, I can't seem to get onto the Forum at work since Ian changed the format so I hope you didn't mind me texting you to post a quick message to stop people travelling to Brimsdown in their droves. Brimsdown were clearly over the moon when they phoned me with the news at lunchtime, they knew we were up for the game in a big way however I don't dispute that the hallowed Goldsdown Road turf was under water as there was a real deluge in north London this morning.

Paula - Thanks, I'll make it worth your while sometime, perhaps when we next meet up!

I think the SSML fixture secretary is arraning it for a couple of weeks time although Brimsdown have a groundshare with Enfield. Clearly they are going to want to drag it out for as long as possible in order to stay in the competition, we'll be going to either Ampthill Town or Bedford Valerio United in the semi final.
