HTFCew - I wasn't saying everyone had heard of me. I was just pointing out that the apparent criteria by which Rhodes adjudges another to be of celebrity status could just as easily be applied to others.

Tony Kemspter runs a website, rhodes openly slags it off on a number of occasions. Mr Kempster posts on here so rhodes immediately starts treating him as a big time celebrity who he fawns all over...(not really surprising given his previous track record and attitude towards minor Nigerian international Clement Temile)

 

I don't know another but I am sure he would be dismayed to be the centre of such a petty conversation and also would rather be regarded as just another poster than someone of higher "god-like" status. EVERYONE who posts on here has contributed something to non-league football in one way or another so why single one person out.

I haven't made a big deal over anything, Rhodes. If you check back through the thread, you will find that I asked you to clarify some of your terminology as I found it confusing. thank you for you and other members messages of support that i continue on the board. I will continue to read this board and will post on certain forums occasionally however I refuse to have any more to say or do with a certain individual.

I'm sorry you feel like that Lato but don't you think you are over reacting a little which seems to be a Ruislip Manor trait on here. Rhodes, where does HTFCew use the words "calibre" or "celebrity" in her statement? She has merely pointed out that he is well known, a fact nobody has disputed. Are you really that desparate to appear vindicated that you consider this to be an endorsement of something you have said?

 

Why should I let things lie? You chose to openly criticize another's site but, as soon as he appeared on this forum, you couldn't get your nose brown quick enough. A true case of the worm that turned. Why should I, or anyone else, allow you to be so hypocritical without passing comment on it?

I merely said that Tony's Forum wasn't my cup of tea, that's my only crime, indeed I'm his site's biggest fan and have always held the man in very high regard. For him to suddenly come onto the Forum and banter with us was naturally a great honour for me, a bit like having a famous player or tv celebrity, the same sort of principle applies. Why don't you just let it go as I think you are the one embarrassing yourself particularly where Tony is concerned.
