Why the low attendances? (this is just a thought as to the reason why!)

Would our attendances go up if Charlton went down? A part of me thinks that, as soon as the glitz and glamour of the Premiership, Rooney and Henry, is replaced with Southend United and Colchester, alot of the 'Valley Express' casual brigade will sod the journey and travel costs in favour of more local and accessible football, as they won't be as attracted to SE7 without such famous opponents.

Can't believe nobody thinks that the amount of live games on Television might have something to do with it, as well!

If you have to pay-to-view, and you get top games, it makes me wonder if people don't look at it as better value for money!

we had well over 1000 for the welling cup game but had west ham been at home we would of had 7-800
