I know, it's been a while since I've been over! Mixture of circumstances and you having too many away games!!

 

I think you may be getting approaches come in for Mr Redford soon, little fella has certainly upped his game.. links with rest of the team much better now.

Must admit it was the most difficult conditions i've played in for a while...thought we deserved it...although they enjoyed alot more possesion...we always looked dangerous going forward and really should have been a few up at half time...nice to get a win against alot of ex team mates and ex manager ! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'll go up for a corner when we need a late leveller !....dont count on me getting bac though !

I know of one team from 2 division higher that are very interested in Ryno....they have watched him a couple of times...although the contract have scared them off a bit

The last corner of the game. Oppo keeper in the box. If I remember rightly you caught the ball. Wind against so it looked like you tried to keep the ball low in your distribution. Was it a shot?

Last year we beat Cheshunt in the 1st round and lost to Leverstock Green in the 2nd. The year before we beat Ware & Harpenden before losing to St Albans in the quarter finals.

Since 1968-69, we have played Watford 4 times - we lost the S/F in 78-79, lost the final in 81-82 & 83-84, and lost in 92-93.

We've played Barnet 7 times since 68-69, but I can't find any record of us playing Stevenage in this comp since that date.

Im surprised you haven't played them more than that in such a long time span, I presume that both Clubs normally are in the same County competition though.

Im quite opposite to you in the fact that I think that Vicaridge Road has been the away ground I have visited most, I haven't checked how many times I've been to each ground for a while but its either there or Bramall Lane or Loftus Road.

After your post I will predict you get Stevenage in the next round, who would you like now though that Watford are out?
