Even if he resigns, do Fleet not hold his registration and contract?

Surely the same would apply to a manager as it would a footballer.

If R & D have interviewed him, whilst still under contract, would that not constitute an illegal approach?

Not sure whether he is required to have a coaching licence as per the premiership - although I suspect not, but resigning and signing for another team would at the very least be immoral, if not illegal.

I never thought I would say this but..................

It really is good new that Daish and Kimble have showed their commitment to staying at Stonebridge Road. What the club needs now more than anything is stability both with the management and also ideally on the pitch. I very much hope therefore that some of the current playing squad now put pen to paper and sign extended contracts. I would also very much hope that both Daish and Kimble are pursuaded to stay longer than their reported existing contracts and commit themsleves to G&N Fc for the forseeable future.

The club continues to face levels of uncertainty both in the board room and with regards the question of a new stadium, it remains therefore very important that any questions of uncertainty are completed removed from the management and playing staff.

RR- I think Liam and Alan would have been offered substantially more had they opened talks! Rushden, as an ex-league club, with a super sparkly ground and attendances about 1000 above ourselves, would obviously have the money to tempt them away, but the point being made is that Daish and Kimble have got loyalty to GNFC at the moment, and they've laid the foundations for their own success.

Fair enough, everyone has their price, but of course there were issues alot more important than money when Liam rejected the rumours.
