Pitch passed as playable at 1:30pm today by a local referee. Match kicked off at 8pm.

I've sent an independant complaint to the FA, for what good that will do (NONE).

 

Mainly about the fact that a pitch with so much extra rain on it is fit to play, when 48 hours earlier it wasn't. Also, about the lateness that the ref called it off. Also praised Hendon at trying to get it played. Going to B&Q to buy sand, etc.

 

I got an email from the Hendon Website Editor today. He said "I've just been down to the ground (we're at home to Bromley today) and we've had a local referee pass the pitch fit for tonight. The pitch is pretty much as it was on Saturday afternoon."
