Possibly because he could be on expenses only, or a small match fee. There's not much information on him out there except that he did well for Maidenhead's reserves a while back before dropping down a few levels, so he's clearly raw and inexperienced at this level.

You're not being thick - but it would help to be able to field 11 players in a match and so I welcome this signing.

The only thing I can think of is that the players who have left have been on average to good money and we're replacing them with people who would come to the club for less.

 

From what Miller has done to return to us and what Mark Bartley has said in the press, I think that's the sort of mentality the players need, knowing in the long run, they will get their money, with probably a bonus for being patient.

Obviously it helps to have 11 players !

And I was not moaning we had signed somebody !

Just saying that if we have no money, how are we signing people? Does this mean there are some funds available? if so it will not be the complete end of the world......yet.

the reason mark bartley says he would play for nothing is that he wouldnt get a game any where else any way.ive watched him on sunday morning in reading and he ent in the best 6 players in is team there. hes got plenty of go but thats it.
