Looking forward to visiting on Tuesday night, hopefully its going be a case of 3rd time lucky and the game is going to be on?

 

What do you rate the current chances of play on Tuesday as?

 

How many of you lot do you expect to turn up, will this be effected by the previous postponements?

I'd be pleasantly surprised if the game went ahead on Tuesday, given how the pitch was looking after yesterday's game. Fingers crossed that we don't get any more rain! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

At a guess id say its more likely to be played on thurday but if its dry between now and tuesday then there might be hope. the pitch looked a little worse for ware after saturdays game. hopefully the groundsman can improve it a bit before the next game, hopefully on tuesday.

I didn't realise we had so many qualified groundsmen and football experts within the club!

 

Let's put a couple of things straight shall we?

If the game was tonight it would definitely be on.

The forecast for tonight and tomorrow though means there has to be some doubt [if the forecast is correct of course] but, once again, we'll look at what has happened early tomorrow and make any necessary arrangements for an inspection if required.

At no time has there ever been any suggestion of the game being played on Thursday, if it's off tomorrow it will be rescheduled for next week.

The FA have suggested that if it is off tomorrow then we should perhaps look at slotting it in for Monday and then Wednesday if it was off on Monday. Worst case scenario would be to play the game on Saturday 16th which is the date for the next round.

If it's off tomorrow then could I put in a request for next Monday, coz I'd get away with that. Mrs S will have her soaps on all night and won't even know I'm 75 miles down the motorway.

 

What's the deadline for postponement reference getting it done before KL set-off?? Chopper leaves Northernshire at 2:30pm so it would be handy to know before then (from a selfish point of view obviously).
