HTFCew - You forgot to include the biggest fixture of all in this category on Wednesday 17 January, the Division 1 Cup 2nd Round tie between 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers and Kentish Town, although I make it the final and the SSML may as well send the trophy down to present to the winners that night. Don't worry I'll start a new thread a bit nearer the time.

Yes we're keen to win this competition and will have 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers watched (again) with our very own 'spy' letting us have another Don Revie style dossier of War and Peace proportions.

So you had no interest in the glory of county cup success but fancy your chances in a run of the mill league-organised competition against sides of no better or worse standard? Not sure if that's a slight on the general ambitions of Kentish Town or the general ability of its coaching/management staff to prioritise its competition entries.

So you call 'the mighty' Whitewebbs a side of better standard than Kentish Town, indeed had we beaten them in that penalty shoot out we would have then travelled to, wait for it, Hertford Heath.

Rhodes, thank you for the proof of what an ignoramous you are when it comes to football outside of the cocoon that is Kentish Town. Not that any of us needed it!

To spell it out for you, given that you are not in either the FA Vase or the Anagram Records Trophy, the Herts Centenary Senior Trophy is the most prestigious cup available to you, whereas the Division 1 Cup is just an additional tournament to make up the fixtures for SSML clubs. In fact, it only comes third in stature within the League's own hierarchy, behind the Challenge Trophy and the Premier Division Cup.

And, unlike a lot of the crap that you spout, this is fact and not opinion.

Potters Bar Town - Thanks for the reminder and who's fault is that!

Potters Bar Town - Gregg has confirmed that you would not allow us to enter any Cup competitions last season other than the obligatory Herts Senior Centenary Trophy and even then that was a huge ordeal when trying to arrange the tie with Coddicotte and we were forced to mess them about. As a result of you unceremoniously showing us the door at the end of the season, similar to a helpless dog thrown out on the street, we were forced to cancel our provisional FA Vase entry as we had nowhere to go so how on earth can that be Gregg's fault who has made the Club what it is today with both hands tied behind his back.

Potters Bar Town - Don't you think it's more than just coincidence that this particular fixture thread, that HTFCew kindly initiated following Phil Rolt's eagerly awaited January fixtures, springs into life immediately whereas the Premier Division and Second Division ones remain totally un-touched as if nobody cares a less, what does that tell you.
