I sent it to all the Club officials such as Gregg, Frank and Kevin and copied in a number of players and other interested parties making a joke about it on the lines that Clement would be honoured if he saw it, as Saf seems to be a bit slow on the uptake he simply got the wrong end of the stick that's all.

I like banter and good chat but some of the comments from Mr Rhodes about this man are incredibly stupid and de-flamatory to some of the footballing greats in this world.

I couldnt have said it better myself,
one question Rhodes with you describing KTFC's play as being that of a great Brazil side....If the way Kentish town play is compared to brazil, Footballing sides such as Arsenal or Ajax....in your opinion Who do they play like??

Well as I have recently pointed out on here other 1st Division Club's have quickly picked up on the way we played earlier in the season, when we were quite simply playing teams off the park in an embarrassing fashion, and are now doing everything in their power to combat it to the extent of running a horse drawn plough up and down their pitches before games. We have therefore been forced to change our Brazil '70 style for the time being at least to a more robust one similar to that of Leeds in the early to mid 70's.

That wasnt my question, having compared KTFC's early style of football to Brazil '70 style what then does arsenal or Ajax compare to?? the reason i am asking this is to show in what context people are viewing your posts and even though we get what you are saying, it can so easily be proved to be more spin and twoddle on your part!

"and are now doing everything in their power to combat it to the extent of running a horse drawn plough up and down their pitches before games."

Who's done that then? Can't you just say "and the heavy pitches at this time of year are now making our flowing style of play impossible, so..."

You would get so much more respect!

I don't really know what you are getting at as Arsenal and Ajax automatically play in a Brazil '70 style anyway. My point was that it is hugely ground breaking for a small Step 6 Club like Kentish Town to be playing in a Brazil '70 style rather than just lumping the ball 70 yards downfield, Hackney Marshes style, at every opportunity and hope for the best as is mostly the case at our level. When we beat Brache Sparta 8-2 and Bedford United 4-0 earlier in the campaign people simply couldn't believe what they were watching but we have sadly been forced to adjust our innovative style accordingly.

the exact reasons why i asked him the question in the first place, his OWN over exagerations (especially about quantity of notches on his bed posts!!!!) make him look sillier then anyone one here!!

So your new coach said something like " We'll ignore the fact that most of the pitches we'll play on will be like ploughed field or beaches. We'll pretend that they're all going to be like Premiership pitches and aim to play like Brazil 70". That would work, wouldn't it?

There is a reason why step 6 clubs don't play in a '1970s Brazil style' rhodes, as you are now finding out to your cost. And the only thing you'll win with a '1970s Leeds' approach is a record number of fines and suspensions. Having a coach/players who can find/play a balance of styles and formations is the only way to progress. Insulting the clubs who beat you is not very clever either.

KTFC play football agreed Mr Rhodes but I have previously stated it isnt going to stand up and allow KTFC to get promotion from Divison 1 this year. Teams do not dig up their pitches, teams adapt to counteract your style of play, but sometimes you have to mix it, at this level if KTFC cannot mix it no chance of going up this year, the next and so on.

Why do you feel KTFC can go up this year as the manager is the same for how many years?? And what has he achieved at this level??

Some help

Get some big tough more experienced players from outside the Camden catchment area and who are not friends of current players. Make the current crop of players fight for places as with your small squad im assuming there is no fight for places, do this and you might have a chance and getting rid of CT might help as well LOL

InformationZone2 - You obviously seem to know a lot about what goes on at the Club and seem to be looking to throw a spanner in the works at every opportunity which is worrying. Firstly we can mix it with the best of them and have our very own Norman Hunter, Billy Bremner and Johnny Giles rolled into one in Aaron Hutchins, also Thomas Looney can tackle a bit. Our Manager is more than capable of getting us out of this Division thank you and the arrival of Clement Temile was the icing on the cake and the final piece in the jigsaw, why on earth would we want to get rid of him as you suggest. We might have a relatively small squad in comparison to other SSML Club's but we don't believe in signing players willy nilly who might play just one game and never be seen again, we also pride ourselves for having purely Camden resident players, Yorkshire County Cricket Club style, with the odd exception from Islington such as Safraz, they are not all friends despite what you say and there is one, possibly two, who doesn't know what the others have for breakfast every morning.
