Cookie makes back page of Isle of Thanet Gazette. He was quoted " I appeal to the public of Thanet - not just Ramsgate and Margate - to come out and see for themselves just what they are missing. Come and support your local club, yes clubs. They are both doing the area a big service.Dont be left out.Come out and swell those gates. "

Thanks Danny but I specifically asked them not to mention my name.I wish you hadnt either as its not about me.(No disrespect for having done so though Danny).

This was about all of us. I think we would all like to see people come flocking back again so I took it on myself to speak up on your behalfs.Hope you didnt mind me doing so.

It wasnt what I wanted,I really did want that front page.Still they mentioned that we want it so thats something.I take it the other chap from Ramsgate was possibly Leedsclive & if it was then many thanks to him for giving a Ramsgate side to this.Still,back page was better than inside the back page I thought.

Lets hope SOME do come along again & if the team can get back to winning ways again then maybe all is not lost concerning new & old supporters coming to our games.Ramsgate SHOULD benefit from this too.Will be interesting to see if attendances DO improve because of the article.I hope so.That was the plan anyway.

 

Cookie,the obssessed with,but determined to see that 1000 coming along again.

Council suing those designers for cocking things up in the first place re:Turner Contempory.They had a hand in it too but they are guiltless it seems.Could that story not have been held over till Tuesday or mentioned on the inside pages? Headlines for THAT! Crap, Maybe money talks eh?

Oxfordshire is quite nice as a whole - but too far for me to attend all home games!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bawling.gif" alt="" /> Will be ok when we play Hendon, Ashford etc..
