Have just been informed that our Boxing Day game at Home to Arlesey is a 12.00 (Noon) Kick Off.

 

So all the Posters that have been printed off are wrong!!!!

Not good! I know the posters are up in at least 40 venues so far. In reality, I doubt it will make too much difference. The posters are really about increasing an awareness of Enfield Town FC. I trust that people who are interested in coming along willl either already be aware of the alteration or will check in the Gazette and the freebies before making the trip over to Goldsdown Road.

The GWR home programme listed the game as a 3pm KO and the ETFC website still lists it as 3.00pm.

Most supporters who read this will be at the game anyway and will be well aware if the new time. They will also spread the word with friends who don't have access to this forum. The Enfield Gazette also reaches 2000 people every week so they will also highlight the new KO time.

It does seem like a daft decision to me. I can't understand the reason for it. Kicking off at midday or 3pm it still clashes with Spurs home game that kicks off at 1pm.

I feel sorry for the stewards and other people that set everything up for a game and then tidy up afterwards they never get a choice about any TV games and will have to be at Brimmo very early on Boxing day. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

Not just TV. Do they get a choice about any changes to anything. One day there will be very few people to help out on a matchday and then what's going to happen? Those who have been 'voted' in to office to steward?

I'd like to thank you Andy!!!!

I know someone who is not going to be very happy when she finds out the Kick off time, she thought 1.00pm was bad enough!!!!! Perhaps there will not be a Tea Bar for that game.

I am only one of a handful.

There's a couple of people who have been pitching in even on days when they could have been working or on annual leave! I won't grass them up though!

who ever he is he didn't consult with the fans or the board members! By moving the kick off the club have lost much needed sponsorship money <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

It's probably the fixture secretary from both the clubs concerned.

I'd sooner not have a game that day at all. Messes up all my plans!!!
