this on the Heybridge website . Match report from reserves game against them when i played my first game . The heybridge manager is some kind of [****!!****] isnt he . A "strong" concord side . The whole team was nearly all under 18's apart from me jamie clark and dave whitely . Then the bit at the bottom about moving the game - what is he trying to say that we moved the game so people who played tuesday could play wednesday aswell . Get a grip you kent !!!!!!!! football wise though there was only one team on show - us you fcking kent !!!!!!!!

 

 

 

Heybridge got knocked out of the Combination Cup by a Strong Concord side, Heybridge started the match with 3 Under 18 Players in the side.

Concord started well and went ahead after 15 minutes, Heybridge started to get into the game but the physical side of the game went to Concord as they dominated aerial posession.Heybridge went in at half time 1-0 done.

 

Heybridge created several chances in the second half but could not convert them,however,Concord scored two late goals to make the game 3-0 and knock Heybridge out of the cup.

"Football wise there was only one team on show but physically we got bossed out of the game. If we had taken our chances them maybe the game would have been a little closer,however,if we had of equalised then i fear the game would have got more physical.

 

One thing that i can't understand is that this game was meant to be played on Tuesday and not Wednesday but it got moved because Concord wanted to watch the Man Utd v Southend game. However their first team game was still played on the Tuesday night against Romford.Funny That!!!!!!"

Dan,the fella is an absolute prick!i argued with him,two years ago on this forum because at the age 39 he was playing himself ahead of his younger players.he used to come on this forum. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

ive just read his match report as they beat our reserves the week after 2-0 and he said

"What a difference a week makes. We went out tonight ready to do the hard work and all of it paid off for the lads. They fought and played some blinding football in some difficult Conditions. Maybe they will realise that they have to work that hard every week to win games. It seems as if they may be starting to get back to form, however, another difficult game on Saturday, away to Barking will give us another stern test. It was very satisfying to go back to the ground where we were beaten a week ago and show Concord that we can compete with them, regardless of the team they seemed intent on putting out!!!!!!!
