Both good players who give 100%,but both have never been given a fair go by Jim.Smithy must be a saint.Most players that are treated as he has been, would have packed their bags a long time ago.I think Matty being put straight back in at Left-wing was the final nail in the coffin for Dean.He must have wondered why he had to fight long and hard to get a start,when he returned, but Matty was immediately placed straight back in the starting 11.

The fact that Harlow are intersted in Dean suggests their view is that he's capable of playing consistently at level 4 for a side near the top of the division.

 

It will interesting to see if they are proved right.

I'd rather that coming to, and/or staying at, Enfield Town was considered to be the best career move a player could make.

 

Not long ago most of us thought that a reserve team would solve a lot of problems as it would allow us maintain a large(ish) squad while keeping players happy and playing, as well as bringing on youngsters and getting first team regulars back to fitness after injury.

 

Reading the forum from afar, if anything things seem to have got worse.

S'pose there's no substitute for 'being there' rather than from afar.

 

Maybe the loyalty thing is only part of some player's make up. There seems to be a lot of movement.

 

I can't really give an opinion as I'm strictly armchair.
