We have, at Hoddesdon Town, that's if Hoddesdon don't find another excuse not to reveal their hand in the programme award stakes or Jane and Roger don't both do a frantic snow dance to the big man in the sky.

If your own team is playing that's fair enough but if the game at Brentwood is postponed during the course of the afternoon I would expect you to divert to Hertford particularly as a hanging of a 'good friend' of yours will be taking place there before kick off.

Well that goes without saying of course I would divert to Hertford I know that I would be made welcome by at least 2 people (hi Horace, hi PBT).
Now who would the hanging be for then and why???

Quite apart from the fact that Rhodes posted this without the slightest hint of irony, we already have our first nomination for the December Quote of the Month competition!

Paula, it's just an example of Rhodes clinging on to something that might deflect the attention away from him when he digs too big a hole for himself. Basically, Alfie Noakes got upset because I pointed out I had been told during pre-season that Hertford's pitch was not up to a good standard. A couple of comments were made on either side and that was the end of the matter. However, from that, Rhodes somehow concluded that Hertford had created a lynch party, supposedly including those same people that are getting the bourbons, custard creams and battenburg ready "as we speak", and whilst the rest of us have moved on, Rhodes keeps clinging on to it like a baby with a rattle. Maybe things happen that way in RhodesWorld? Who knows?

I really cant believe my good friend Horace would do that to you luv.

There was me thinking it woz Rhodes indicating that Horace would have been jealous coz of our 'liasion' the other night - I do luv it when men fight over me <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I suppose it's preferable to having people like Rhodes stalking you!
Potters Bar Town - Well as you know full well I'm harmless and Paula could do a lot worse, although, having said that, she could probably do a lot better too. I'm not very good with relationships as the football always takes priority and that goes down like a lead baloon with the Women folk particularly if they're not into the beautiful game.

Afternoon Paula! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bisou.gif" alt="" />

I LIKE women who like football!

Just spent the morning down at the ground marking out for tomorrow. Because of the heavy rain recently, all the lines were washed away, so practically had to start again - not pleasant in the drizzle! And it looks like vandals were on the pitch last night, trampling all over it in a sort of repetitive way! And they did it on the pitch right next to a nice pristine area 12 foot wide alongside the pitch - nice of them to leave that bit untouched!

Rhodes, got to be in agreement with every one else here - you are very selective in the way you read and interpret the posts.
It has nowt to do with my new friend. It was what you said about I could do better with my choice of 'men friends'.
I am the one who makes the decision about that!!
I could be shagging an 80 year old smelly tramp living in a cardboard box but that would be MY decision and i would NOT expect ANYBODY to tell me otherwise - least of all someone whom i've never even met!!!!
