I'm not denying a meeting took place but what I'm disputing is the fact that Paula and Potters Bar Town actually met after the game finished, ie 9.30 onwards, something doesn't seem quite right and even the normally insistant Potters Bar Town is being unusually elusive and non committal over the matter. It all boils down to his post when he got back home at 11.30 whereby he told Paula about the break in when they had supposedly discussed it after the game in the bar, now why on earth would he do that.

Rhodes - if you really need it spelt out to you like a five year old, as your lack of intellect over this matter clearly seems to indicate, Paula asked if I would tell the world why I was later than her getting into the bar after the game and my response was that I had to sort out the burglary before I could get in to have a drink. Because Paula only used the word "later" and didn't specifically mention the clubhouse bar, you have obviously assumed that she meant getting home later rather than getting into the bar later. Mind you, it's not the first time you've made a prick of yourself with a wrong assumption is it, Rhodes?

Hertford are going to have to go some to beat Hornchurch's offering of battenburg AND bourbons AND custard creams. Enough to keep us both satisfied all night long! Mind you, the battenburg slices were a bit on the thin side (hint, hint, Horace!).

Trouble is PBT if Horace is arranging it you'll get your tea in a bloody Hertford mug (well thats what he gives me mine in). However, he does make a nice strong cup of tea and I did convert him to Yorkshire Tea bags.

At least at Hx you got white cups and saucers!!

Horace has never given me battenburg though <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
