A theory as to why we lost

After 5 wins Trotty is sure to get the Manager of the Month Award for November.

 

As this is usually a poison chalice and results in loss of form we had our bad result BEFORE the award was given to save time.

 

We start again for the December award from Saturday.

Good theory Frankie though maybe the Chelmsford Manager may not agree as they are unbeaten in November. Trotty should get it as we did beat Bromley and inflicted their first defeat (maybe Team Performance of the Month?).

A good theory Frankie but alas I think his award may have slipped beyond him now because of last nights result.Hopefully he will get it still,if he indeed was in line for it.Yesterday WOULD have more or less have guaranteed it I reckon but now I'm not so sure. Still,as you say there is Decembers award to go for.

The reason is Trott decided on record publicly to state that Margate were invincible and the best team in the league. Never open your mouth like that until you have achieved your aim in this case promotion. If you are ahead of the others by 15 points then fair enough but not when you are still in a pack with the rest.Never breed arrogance until you achieve success it always comes to haunt you.

True.Trotty isnt the best of speakers is he? He does come out with some choice words sometimes,though its good he thinks that way.Whether that was the reason for the defeat though is open to question.

Actually I havent seen the att.figure.None was given on the night.Have to check it out but looked about 600 to me.Second half was as bad as you could get. First half took us 30 minutes to wake up too but then we scored were extremely unfotunate to have gone in 3-0 up.We were class for the last 15 minutes if the first half but that was it I'm afraid. Second half a completely different team out there!
