Hi Bitch. Well I've calmed down now at last. Not because of the result so much but because...Well I need not explain."I dont want talk to about it" anymore.

There will be no "Tears of a clown" over our result tonight as I know we are better,much better than that.I see you have been busy today typing with those

"angel fingers" of yours. "I feel for you".

"Aint no doubt" you are a good laugh though.Its good to have "happy talk".

Good result for you though no matter how many first teamers were out there.

They had 4 regular 1st teamers, and we had 3 regular teamers Cookie. Squad players can be anyone from Ressies to U18's. I'm sure you can tell the difference, please try and explain it to Gazza in the morning... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" />

 

As to your predicament that winds you up so much, the good work you put in to promoting two local teams, i searched back to a post that i knew summed it up from earlier today and was most surprised it came from Frankie....... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Bare with me while i look it up again, for you to hit your local press over the head with........

Dear Craig,

Is there any BIGGER news locally than the football clubs achievements thus far....today? Maybe,but I dont know of one.This may not happen again this season with both clubs placed 1st & 2nd so thats the important thing to highlight this week,in particular. Its not often we get FRONT PAGE coverage but this is an exceptional time for BOTH clubs & it should be *STAR* news this week & worthy of FRONT PAGE billing.

All i can go from is experience. I live in Tunbridge Wells, the neighbouring town of Tonbridge. TWells is a bigger town. The football club there is smaller (Kent League). We are all serviced by our local paper - The Courier. The amount of complaints on the WElls forum re coverage of the town's footy seemed to hit a note.

 

Wells have not done well this season, but that is beside the point. Local papers should carry 'local' news. I.e Back page of each edition should concentrate on that town's footballing news. So in the end they highlighted the dire results the Wells were suffering, but they also backed them up with the Club and Management statements.

 

My point to you Cookie, is - now that you have pushed, they will probably highlight tonight's loss, but counteract it with coverage of the game between you and the Rams. Keep battling away. Keep up the noise on the forum, get as many people as possible to harass them to provide your town with the news of thier team. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

No worries Frankie.Didnt really think I had said anything out of the ordinary however I have taken it on board & perhaps Frankie has a right to come down on me hard with "sixteen tons" worth.
