Tiger007
At the end of the day Harringay will do what they want and KTFC will follow what path they want, and when we both meet, we shall see. Please remember that Harringay did not invite us there from the goodness of their hearts, but purely on a finacial basis. We served a purpose and their ground served our needs, nothing more nothing less, but life has a way of coming back and bitting you in the [****!!****], so time will tell. Football Man
If you had nothing against Mr. Achillea and didn't dislike him, he wouldn't have had any reason to sack you because you wouldn't have acted the way you did.
3praise
Tigeroo7 you are the jekyll and Rhodes is the Hyde of KTFC you come accross as genuine and have a love for your club - whereas Rhodes seems to do more harm then good!

Football Man - What are you talking about, all I was trying to do was to promote and progress the Club as Haringey Borough could and should be one of the best and biggest non league Club's in the Country if run properly, all the infrastructure is there with partners such as the Council, Spurs, businesses and Community groups to name a few ready and waiting to come onboard. That is exactly why 'Sugar' didn't want to know and pooh poohed everything I came up with as he doesn't want the Club to be in the spotlight or to progress in any way shape or form for sinister reasons. PB!
Still waiting to hear your side of events over the end of your stint at HBFC. Like I said if people knew the truth maybe we would have more sympathy for you. PM me if you like as I said before.

If our Club's hierarchy didn't want me to post on here then surely they would tell me to refrain from doing but I haven't received that e-mail, phone call or text as yet, clearly you and 'Sugar' are dying for that to happen but sadly for you it never will. By the way I'll be PMing Paulb tomorrow to fill him in on the real truth about the Club, I may even cc you in.

3praise
Paulb i do not need to PM as i will show you a quote that scratches the surface as to why Rods got sacked Football Man - "No, I was suggesting that you were acting without the club's authority and with no understanding of how the club felt it could best operate. That makes you a bad committee person, unable to listen to and follow the instructions of your hierarchy, and goes a long way towards explaining why you are no longer part of their committee." I hope this clears a little of the story up or you.
PB!
That is a suggestion from someone not involved with HBFC though, has about as much substance as most of Rhodes clap trap.

It had to be him didn't it so in other words I think you owe Paulb a PM to tell him the real truth, ie calling the Women's team 'Borough Belles' on the Website. Rhodes
I will post a link to the fire article in the Tottenham Journal from April last year later on today so you can explain to the good members on here what I am supposed to have said.
Rhodes
3praise - Here you go as promised, although I'm not sure that the link with the photograph will work after all this time, if not the text of the article is below and I would like to know what in particular you were referring to in your earlier post: http://www.journal24.co.uk/content/haringey/muswellhilljournal/newstj/story.aspx?brand=TWGJOnline&category=news&tBrand=mhjonline&tCategory=newstj&itemid=WeED05%20Apr%202006%2015%3A09%3A34%3A847 FLAMES ripped through Haringey Borough Football Club's stadium in the early hours of Thursday morning - following a suspected arson attack. The club chairman has slammed the "mindless individuals" responsible as police confirmed the blaze was being investigated as a "criminal act". Flames first caught hold in a storage cupboard under the club's main stand - which had been broken into. Firefighters rushed to the football ground, in Coles Park, White Hart Lane, Tottenham, at 12.45am. Firefighters confirmed the blaze - which destroyed vital sport equipment as well as causing extensive damage - had started in more than one place, prompting officers to treat it as suspicious. The club had already been broken into four times that week. Aki Achillea, the club chairman, said: "We at the club are all absolutely devastated by the damage caused by the fire. "We are only a handful of people who devote much time and considerable personal funding to run our five teams and we cannot understand the reasons why anyone would want to attempt to burn down the stand which, whilst old and in need of refurbishment, is still a vital building that provides for storage and cover for our spectators. "We understand from the fire brigade that there were three different seats to the fire and this confirms that a deliberate effort was made to destroy the building. "Only the prompt actions of the fire brigade and the police prevented the whole building from being destroyed and we wish to express out sincere thanks and gratitude to both. "All our equipment was destroyed and I am at a loss as to how it will now be replaced." Mr Achillea added: "The mindless individuals who started the fire have no idea of the distress they have caused and we can only hope that they are brought to account for their actions." Clifford Rhodes, assistant secretary at Haringey Borough, said: "We have gone to the very top with this. It's ridiculous that someone can just come into our stand and burn it down like that. This follows on from four break-ins in a week. "It already worried the White Hart Lane Safer Neighbourhood team. It's all a bit of a disaster." Councillor Nilgun Canver, executive member for crime and community safety, said: "I was really upset about it. It is a real shame because they work really hard. They have been doing good work with the kids." A police spokesman said: "It is part of an ongoing investigation so we are not jumping to any conclusions. We are investigating the fire as a criminal act and we welcome any information from the public." Anyone with information should call Haringey Police on 020 83450763 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111. Rhodes
3praise - Silence is Golden. When you do eventually get around to responding you might want to use the new thread that Horace has helpfully created as I seem to be ruffling members feathers unduly by turning the screw on your lord and master who is hopefully penning his resignation letter.
