Football Man
No, it isn't. You always like these "stories" to have your own personal bias stamped all over them.
Rhodes
Yes but is it my fault that people like 3praise and 'Sugar' twist the truth.

Rhodes
I'm not twisting the truth though am I, at the end of the day 'Sugar' took Haringey down to division 1 and Uncle Urchin has confirmed that he was totally responsible for that, you can't seem to accept it for some reason though. Football Man
I was referring, as you well know, to your comments about the £2m that you allege was "on the table" at Haringey. We've never heard the full story from both sides, have we? On the face of it, an offer of £2m would be too good for a club at Haringey's level to turn down, yet it was. Therefore, there must be something more to it than you are making out and I have to conclude that you are twisting the truth. You certainly twist the truth about the PBT groundshare that you don't even have first hand experience or knowledge about (I see you are spouting the same old bullshit on the TK forum) and there are probably dozens of other occasions when you have twisted the truth on this forum. Any news on your bid to be moderator yet? No, didn't think so...
Rhodes
At the end of the 2005/2006 season 'Sugar' was approached by a wealthy high profile consortium who asked him whether he was prepared to step aside so they could come in and progress the Club, unsurprisingly he wouldn't even speak to them and told them where to go in no uncertain terms, 3praise will no doubt verify this. As for our groundshare agreement at Parkfield where have I twisted the truth, indeed you have readily admitted that you all but clicked your heels and refused us entry into all but the obligatory cup competitions even stating that we could only enter the FA Vase 'over your dead body'. Rhodes
HTFCew - That's exactly how it went down, the high powered and wealthy individual heading up the consortium obviously wanted overall control and would have wanted 'Sugar' to step down as Chairman however he was still more than welcome to remain with the Club as a board member if he so wished. HTFCew
Was "the high powered and wealthy individual" in the building trade?
Rhodes
No he isn't, he owns a huge sports clothing empire and is a property magnet. I dare say he knows builders though who could have transformed Coles Park overnight.

Rhodes
Well I think I know what you are getting at but you couldn't be further away from the truth, he is a football man through and through and would have turned the Club's fortunes around overnight, they certainly wouldn't have been relegated this season. Football Man
In what way was it "genuine"? Given that the offer was turned down, and the consortium have now gone away, I don't think you would be revealing any "Royal Secrets" by giving us details of what was on the table. Rhodes
Yes the offer was turned down but for reasons to suit 'Sugar' and not the Club, you are just siding with him to be awkward however even his poodle 3praise knows deep down that he is well past his sell by date and should have stepped down when he had the ideal opportunity to. Like I said he wasn't obliged to walk out of the gates of heaven never to return and could have stayed on as a member of the board so what does that tell you. Anyway who said that the consortium have now gone away, I am still in regular contact with them.
