The new Haringey Borough FC thread

Recommended Posts

OK, I am definately not going to go down that road. Although to be fair to Aki he is backing my plans, as Head of Youth Development, in expanding the Youth setup.

Also, the only satisfaction I get from the success this season is the satisfaction of achievment and of working with such a good group of young players.

We are trying our best to improve the club as much as is viably possible in all areas, that includes Aki and the board. I know you have your views, but if you take a step back and just look at what is happening this season and beyond subjectively, you will accept that whatever went wrong in your view in the past, the club is doing the right things now.

We can't all agree with everything anyway, but as long as the intentions are good and there is a little give and take surely everyone can get along better?

Lol, here's hoping.

Rak - 'Sugar' might be seen to be backing your plans however I assure you it's through gritted teeth as a youth set up was the last thing he wanted when I was at the Club. Why didn't he take it forward then when it was the talk of the town and we had the Council, Spurs, the Police, the two MP's, local youth and community groups and Sir Trevor Brooking banging our door down for a piece of the action, ask 'Sugar' next time you see him. By the way was he there cheering you on yesterday.

Through gritted teath or not, he is backing them. Also, previosuly maybe he didn't have the infrastructure or personel to do it.

Anyway, like I said its happening now so lets move on.

Rak - I'm more than happy to move on and congratulations again on your impressive achievements this season. Tell me one thing though, was 'Sugar' in attendance yesterday afternoon.

Cheers.

If he was or wasn't there doesn't really matter too much to me, the main thing is I am sure he wanted to be there. Board members did attend, although I didn't see Aki (as you can imagine I had many other things on my mind and so could have missed him).

You should have come down to watch though!

Rak, I'm really sorry to say this as I hold you in high esteem and don't want to upset you but I rest my case.

OK well I don't want to go down this route talking about Aki etc. I think I have covered my point of view quite thoroughly in above post's so we can leave it at that.

Rak - Yes that's fine, I appreciate that you want to keep the peace, indeed sometimes I think you are Trevor Brooking in disguise. I have to say what you're thinking though, namely that for the Club Chairman not to attend a Cup Final is a poor show and pretty much says it all.

3praise - I note from the Website that 'we' will be starting Under 13s and Under 14s teams next season, would you care to comment seeing how 'Sugar' virtually frogmarched Year 7 and Year 8 kids out of the gates of heaven little over a year ago.

MORE YOUTH NEWS!!!

This Thursday we are holding trials for our new U13s and U14s teams for next season. This is an open trial for any children currently in years 7 and 8 at School (going into years 8 and 9).

The trial is Thursday 10th May 5-7pm at Coles Park (look at 'find us' page)

For more information please email the Head of Youth Development.

3praise - Well I'm asking you not Rak, why do you always sit on the fence Trevor Brooking style, I'm sure you know more than you are letting on. Anyway I'm still waiting to hear what the Club has planned for its Centenary celebrations, surely you are not going to let 2007 go by without doing anything, I had plans in place well over two years ago but your lord and master just wasn't interested, has his view changed.

3praise - I'm still waiting, I'm sure you're out there hiding behind your computer screen as you did for a week following 'our' defeat at Royston Town.

Rhodes you old hunchback, you seem to complain when PBT is on too much and complain when i am not on often enough? you cannot have it all your own way!!

Any matters which are youth Related you will go through Rak i dont care if you have asked me or not! he is head of youth development and so will have the answers you are looking for.

Abbeynut i have no idea who you are but to come and say about the state of coles park pitch when we finished all our games at the same time as everyone else is a bit thick!

Rhodes to say Haringey have a winter break is a bit unfair consindering you had to play all your "home" games away from home as somone on the administive side of things NAMELY YOU messed up paper work and so where deemed homeless FACT!

And tigerboy if i had a pound for everyone that tried to make a joke about players from Haringey being gay i would be able to help KTFC out so their cheques would stop bouncing all over the place.

Ahh and anyone else i have missed out i do apologise!

3 prasie you talk some shi*, you must be a right harringay man, watching your side play good football, has made your brian all scrambled and before you go shouting out wild stories try to get your facts right, do hate ppl who dont get there facts right, must be brainwashed by the powers above. We will see next season 3praise, if you are going to turn up for the KTFC and Harringay encounter, or will you be hiding behind the harringay officilas.

The truth is that your club has not been good enough for a few seasons and maybe maybe being demoted might wake the powers above up and make them take some positive action, as they should have done three years ago when i pointed out the facts to them and were all there faults lay. hehehehehehehehehehehehe
