Rhodes
I meant officially announced to the SSML hierarchy and imminent on here to you lot, no contradiction there at all. Sorry to keep you all in suspenders but all good things come to those who wait.

Rhodes
Horace - No it has floodlights alright and uniquely shaped ones at that, that's a clue by the way.
Tubbsy8
Harpenden Town? They have odd shaped floodlights!
Rhodes
Tubbsy8 - We could have another guessing game like when we were all trying to work out your profession, no it isn't Harpenden Town but an interesting try.
Horace
Rhodes, I've been meaning to ask you something. Remember how we all saw in the SSMFL minutes that you had provisionally resigned from the league like AFC Dunstable had? The latest mniutes record that AFC Dunstable have now withdrawn their resignation, but nothing is recorded about Kentish Town. Does this mean that you haven't withdrawn your resignation from the league?
Rhodes
Horace - Strangely enough I wondered the same thing when the Minutes were published, an e-mail went off withdrawing our resignation so I can only assume it was an oversight on the SSML's part, I will seek confirmation. Don't worry we will be ready and raring to go on Saturday 18 August that's for sure.
Horace
Strange that then? Hope they got it - who did you email it to?
Rhodes
Mr Mitchell on 31 March, I got an acknowledgement but I think at the end of the day the SSML knew full well that we would be on the starting line on 18 August by hook or by crook as we do everything right and from the heart, leaving no stone unturned, albeit in a slightly unorthodox fashion. Horace
I'm still of the opinion that they will NOT play there.
HTFCew
I hope they don't and it is somewhere else - football pitches should never be inside athletics tracks. The supporters are so far away there is never any atmosphere - I used to hate going to Harlow.
Horace
When does the athletics season end?
HTFCew
About the same time as the cricket season. Is it still in use for athletics?
Horace
Yes, according to this - it's the home of Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers LInk to Copthall website
Sharming Paula
AFC Hornchurch have a track around it as does Ilford. Friend of mine done a lap around Ilford (Hi littlelegs if ya reading this)and jumped in the sandpit. Done it as a dare and raised about £50 from us fans for the Canvey coffers. Great night that was!!
