I was standing at the bottom of the stand right in front of where you were sitting.

Gavin was sitting? He wasn't over the far side with his flag and airhorn? We're goin to appeal- he should have been distracting the St Mags 'keeper like he di ours!

He certainly was Horace, quiet as a mouse except for a brief outburst in the second half I beleive.

I'd also like to comment on the referee. That was possibly one of the worst displays I've seen in a long time.

There was the St Mags penalty claim about half way through the first half but then he let go an even more blatent one for Edgware when JB tried swapping shirts a little bit too early. Herod was cynically taken out when in a good shooting position should of been at least a yellow but waved on. Mr Newing and his assistant were not happy bunnies and most of the crowd ended up laughing at the decisions as he got worse and worse!!

If a keeper sneezed they got a free kick.

Not your league but, just in case, PBT v Harlow is off.

Shame that PBT.
We have Harlow away next weekend - looking forward to seeing their new ground!!
All the Harlow crew came down to us in the end yesterday (no doubt making notes on our excellent performance)

By the way the ground is lovely. i live in harlow and I can tell you it is something special for this level. Them and Dartford must be up there with the top non-league grounds now.

Yes I was sitting down, you get a good view from up in the stand, nothing to sing to, no away fans <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think there were about 10 travelling supporters, just not very loud.

One thing I noticed.. I'm sure there were a lot more supporters there for the second half than the first? Surely not money shy the supporters at Edgware?

One more thing.. sort out the bar / tea / food situation. I think you're losing a lot of revenue there. Couldn't get a sandwich or burger and it took about 10 minutes to get a tea at half time if you weren't there sharpish.

...
You are 100 % right, a lot of people (tight gits') seem to appear as if from nowhere at HT, I dont know why the club cant put someone on the gate to take the money or charge them half price for half a match.

As for the tea bar situation, again I agree, a lot of people say why cant they buy a burger or roll or something. Maybe they could make them in the bar as its has a kitchen. You are right the club would make money, but I am not sure just how much when compared with costs for food / staff etc. If we we promotion and the crowds will be bigger then it's something that should be looked into, because we used to have a tea bar.

You could probably get an outside firm in to do it Gav and charge them 20% of takings. Until you get your own set up at least you will have the prescence of it.
