alexis leaving?

Look as far as I know several players have been approached by other clubs and as far as I know Errol has been seven dayed by Maidenhead. However this does not mean they will leave, although if they do who can blame them when they have not recieved all outstanding monies.

I will say one thing though, no offence to the likes of Abingdon but when we are doing well we are a good club to be at. Look at the support away at places like Cobham & Staines this season. You won't get that at clubs like Abingdon who only have a hardcore few regular fans.

Have heard that Telemaque will be leaving us after the game on Saturday.

Take a look at the scorer list on the front page of the site to see who maybe leaving next! If Alexis leaves too, that will be 7 of that list gone from those with us at the start of the season.

If these players left for those clubs in question, its a backward step.

These clubs are no bigger than slough.

If however they move in the right direction[up]i dont think many slough supporters would mind.

Like steve dell a few weeks back.Apparantly he had a conf-south side after him but turned it down because it was to far and he started a new job.

But i also understand that its hard when you aint been paid 4 x amount of time.

I must say out of errol, leech, mason, alexis think the team would miss alexis. The other three can be replaced.

P.S.The grass is not always green on the oter side. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" />

When commitments from the club are continually broken you cant blame any players for leaving! When players sign for a club at the start of the season, why should they hold up their end of the agreement when the club is constantly not upholding theirs?

Would you turn up for work without being paid for 6 weeks and with know idea when your next pay check will be arriving??? Doubt it!

This is all because of how the club is run and relying on cup runs to finance wages for the season. Ridiculous way to run a football club as it isnt guaranteed income, as has been proven!

Or perhaps a question for you anon - why would you join a football club knowing it is homeless, without any additional sources of income, dwindling crowds, a chairman known for going walkabouts and not paying the money on time?

Is it because you thought you could get an extra £10 a week than you might get somewhere else? Have you deserved your wages for the performances you have put in this season because if they were performance related you may well have been paid less than you have already.

You are the people who complain when stuff about wages gets put on here and yet you are quite happy to join in and swipe at the club. Your grievance is with them, not the supporters. The players made their feelings very clear to Roy last week - if you're still annoyed (and maybe rightly so) direct your frustration and anger at Roy rather than moan about it on here like this is some sort of women's problem page.

Anonymous is anonymous, just as you are anonymous.

What I know is players regularly check on this forum and contribute anonymously. I know the club then complains about this forum when money matters are raised but then the club wanted to distant itself from this forum and so the moderators who may in the past have deleted stuff about player wages have been liberal on our UNOFFICIAL site.

I know the players are annoyed at their lack of payments. I don't blame them for this but I take exception when they come onto the fans forum to moan about it and when they try to hold the club to ransom by refusing to play.

I know that recently players were complaining that Worthing was a long way to go to just for expenses, which cuts pretty deeply with me given I was one of several people who gave up days of work to WALK to Worthing to raise money for the Supporters Trust, but then what do supporters matter to some of these players.

I am suspicious that the Trust may have given the club some money to help pay the players. If this is the case and the players still come on here to moan at the supporters then frankly I am disgusted at some of the players I am supposed to 'support'.

I know that the financial predicament of the club is not good for anybody. I have sympathy for players if they are not being paid. However I am a supporter and I demand that the players who pull on our shirt give their all. If player performance falls because they are a few quid out of pocket I would rather they packed their bags and went chasing the pennies elsewhere.

When we have people like Woody on our books who refused his wages after we had a shocker and the likes of Wilko, Daly, Miller who would turn out for this club for nothing but the love of the game I reserve the right to be pissed off with playing staff who threaten to strike, complain on here about their wages.

Jarvis was a cancer at this club and I'm glad he is gone. If others want to follow him then good riddance to them to.

KT, as you don't know this anon is a player I assume your comments are aimed at any player that reads the forum.

To be fair, apart from being homeless i'm sure any player joining us wouldn't know about not having additional sources of income, dwindling crowds and a chairman that doesn't pay money on time and I'm pretty certain nobody would tell them otherwise they wouldn't join us unless they were desperate for a game.
