In theory Keane is not eligible to be managing Sunderland as he is not fully qualified however as is the case with 'the great one' he should dot all the i's and cross all the t's by the start of next season.

Wrong again rhodes, you really should try a little research occasionally. Roy Keane actually passed his UEFA PRO LICENSE last year. This is the qualification that managers need to have to manage in top tier football across europe.

As for your jibe about junk mail, that's a little below the belt don't you think.

I'm not trying to backtrack at all, its what I believe and I also think a lot of people would back me up on this. As always though you have gone into full rhodesworld spin mode and think a couple of hastily copied paragraphs from journals around the world are proof he is the most talked about person in world football.

As for the junk mail comment well I write to loans companies to tell me to stop posting their tripe to me but they still do. Similarly I post on this forum for you to post sensibly but you still come out with the same junk. Therefore the analogy fits.

And when are you going to acknowledge that Clement Temile wasn't an African footballer of the year. Or is it something that he told you about himself so you have to believe it?

And one final point, I never claimed Toto Tamuz wasn't a talent. Read the initial post on the thread you add constantly too about him and see what I said.

Or is all that too difficult for you?

I see you've left this one alone, Rhodes!

I'll speak to 'the great one' and get it confirmed, I may have confused it with him winning the golden boot at the 1984 African Cup of Nations when Nigeria played Cameroon in the final in the Ivory Coast. Why do you always try to pick holes in Clement's achievements and try to undermine him all the time, why not be pleased that the SSML have someone of his pedigree and stature and is helping to promote our League Worldwide.

Pedigree and stature? I'd never heard of him until I joined this forum and saw his name in 90% of your posts Rhodes! smile

Jonno - Well there you go, you never knew what you were missing. If you had hung around on 31 March and hadn't left at 3.05 I would have introduced you to him and no doubt you still wouldn't have washed your right hand.

  • 10 months later...

'The great one' is all over the SSML Bulletin like a rash this week in Bill Scholes's information column. Under the heading 'News From Kentish Town' it goes on to say 'Kentish Town's Head Coach Clement Temile, who joined from Haringey Borough at the start of last season and who has been instrumental in their success this season, has recently won the prestigious Jack Petchey Foundation Leader Award, as well as £1000, which will go to a future project of the Club's choice involving young people. An excellent achievement and congratulations to Clement'.
