The new Clement Temile thread

Recommended Posts

Folks - Where will it all end, my mobile was red hot today with a call from deepest Cape Town in South Africa from the editor of high profile 'Kick Off' Magazine, the call was followed up by the e-mail below just incase some of you think I am exaggerating or telling pork pies. Naturally I will be obliging Mr Williams with all the information he requires on 'the great one' in order to compile an article for his magazine in the near future:

Good day

Thanks for the time spent on the telephone – much appreciated.

As mentioned, I work for Kick Off magazine in Cape Town, and am the managing editor of the Nigerian edition of the magazine.

We would be interested in speaking to Clement, who was a star for Nigeria back in the 80s, and doing a ‘where are they now’ type article about his subsequent career.

Any assistance you could give us would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Ian Williams

Kick Off Nigeria magazine

how dissapointed the nigerians will be when they realise That Clement is now a coach/2nd in command at a failing Div 1 side 10 leagues below the premiership, what a laughing stock he will be - and he has you to thank for it!!

3praise - Another absolutely ludicrous post, possibly your best, or should I say worst, yet. Firstly 'the great one' is not second in command at Kentish Town unlike when he was given the distinguished role of Assistant Reserve Team Coach at Coles Park. He is Head Coach of the Club overseeing all our teams and has the final say in all playing matters, what he says goes in other words. Secondly we are not ten league's below the Premiership, we are nine and, all being well, eight next season when hopefully Clement will grace Coles Park again with his presence if 'Sugar' can 'work the magic' once more and keep Haringey up by putting his hand in his pocket.

So, clip Rods, are you telling us that Clement Temile has overseen a reserve team that currently has -6 points and hasn't won a game this season and for the three youth teams that you withdrew from their League (one just before Christmas) taking away all hope of a sporting future for many Camden youngsters?

Evening All - Just got back from Sun Postal Sports to find this e-mail in my inbox amongst all the others clambering for information on the Club and requests for badges and programmes from all over the World, Poland in particular. I'm beginning to appreciate what it must be like to be Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea:

Hello,

I am the writer/publisher of a book on the definitive book on the history of the nigerian national football team, you can view here:

http://www.africabookcentre.com/acatalog/index.html?http%3A//www.africabookcentre.com/acatalog/Sports_Nigeria.html&CatalogBody

I am trying to get in touch with Clement Temile who i just discovered is the head coach of Kentish Town Football Club. I am trying to send him a copy of my book as i normally give a free copy to our Ex-Footballers.

I tried to send a message to his aol email address but it doesnt seem to be recognised.

I can be reached on my contact details below.

Many Thanks for your help

clip Rods, you must be slipping in the PR Department if this bloke has only just found out where Clement is. Perhaps you should just point him in the direction of his Wikipedia entry?

point of order here Potters Bar, Clement Temile doesn't actually have a Wikipedia entry of his own. He does of course get a mention in the entry of Toto Tammuz primarily for abandoning his son in Israel.

Thanks for putting Potters Bar Town right on 'the great one's' Wikipedia entry, you rightly pointed out that he doesn't actually have one in his own right, yet. Regarding the 2012 Olympics you are right about the £9.3billion however the sponsorship money is already starting to pour in, Lloyds TSB have just pledged £60million with well over five years to go to the event.

Well that only leaves £9,240,000,000 !

I read somewhere that apparently Lloyds don't get a lot for their money as they can't use hoardings at the venues. Analysts are questioning whether companies will be prepared to invest in the Olympics particularly if England get the 2018 World Cup and Glasgow the 2014 Commonwealth Games as these are both seen as more user friendly events for sponsors.

However I have ever faith that the Dennis Norden attitude of people like rhodes will see it through.

I still don't see why you are being so negative about the Games in 2012 and it's a 'poor show' to use a British 'stiff upper lip' expression. I don't know about you or all our good friends on here but I was the proudest person on the planet when those imortal words were spoke in Singapore on 6 July 2005.

I'm negative about them because I think in their current format they are a waste of money.

Well the Opening and Closing Ceremonies are very much part and parcel of the Olympic Games, possibly even more so than the Games themselves.
