Stevenage- Boxing day

On the assumption that the person in charge of allocating ends to fans neglects to file the right piece of paper with the relevant authority in time to change the status quo, the SBFC overspill will presumably come into the home end anyway (and more than likely take up residence between the Coca-Cola stand and the away end so as to be at one with their brethren...unless of course they decide to 'take' the home end). Will the stewards on duty be bothered enough to enforce the segregation or will they be too busy doing brandy and mince pie burps? Hopefully they will also cast a blind eye to seasonal hip flasks and flatulence.

Given that it's Christmas, maybe we should welcome them into the ground any way they choose (that's over the fence then), and do our bit for looking after the homeless and impoverished :-)

It could be a new version of the nativity, salufc. If they bring more than 1400 or whatever is the capacity of the Hatfield Road end, they will find the gates closed and Knocky standing there suggesting that the disappointed couple of Stevenage fans might like to take the 27 bus to Cotlandswick adn watch London Colney.

Presumably.

Are you having a bad day, salufc?

Aaahhh, English lessons in a forum post; the last refuge of a tired intellect. Mine being somewhat knackered (sorry, should that be fatigued? Enervated, maybe?) as well at present I'm almost tempted to point you back to your original post and try to explain the difference between "there" and "their"; or how commas work; or how St. George would have been a person rather than an article (could bring a big doll, I suppose. Hmmmm). Almost tempted that is, but unfortunately my comprehensive education precludes me having the capacity so to do.

I look forward to Clarence Park on boxing day and listening to the amusing, Noel Cowardesque ditties that you will be serenading us with, no doubt accompanied by a piano player tinkling on the ivories in the corner. Oh, and being confronted by a whole terrace of cravats. It's all going to be so quaint.

Tea anyone?!?.....

Blimey, this has taken a worryingly inquisitive turn!

I was raised in St. Evenage, so that's good enough for me, me old china (just to play up to the stereotype).

As they say, football is a game for gentlemen played by thugs, so I guess that we all have a right to be there one way or another.

We'll take the low road and you take the high road.....
