all baked in a pie.....

cor blimey that was a long way to go on a cold and frosty tuesday night....

'heath' up for it after their away draw at sudbury on saturday and plenty of meaty tackles from the home side as the urchins pressed from the off and looked determined to put their current bout of goal shyness behind them but 'twasn't to be...a missed janney penalty plus heroics from the home goalie kept the ever onward urchins out until finally the macca head went in low against the flying 'heath' studs and in it went near post...

much hugging and kissing of said macca from the urchin faithful and even me and daggsy had a little jump up and down...

not a pleasant game to watch due to far too many bad tackles from the home sidew who ended with 10 men and could have ended with 6 but an excellent gritty and hard fought three points and 10 out of 10 to the 'prawn sandwiches' who made the arduous journey across the M25...

back to 2nd and much to play for...excellent curry house by the way in heath village and the owner was a hx fan...(true) ...

took me 45 minutes to get round to junction 18,where in my wisdom i decided to turn off and go through chesham on the way there, where we got stuck in traffic for 25 minutes, got to beaconsfield and to my relief the m40 was rammed with traffic so went down to loudwater on the a40 and over the m40,job done. And tinky slept most of the way which is always enjoyable for those in the car!

Well it suited me fine living, as I do now, in Isleworth, 40 minutes door to door. Damn cold night, scrappy, but the quality we had won the day. Elliot was not to be drawn into the oppos goading and crass tackling. Janners terrified the number 3, who our match reviewer thought got away without a booking when he booked their number 4. I was stood right by the incident, he booked number 4 as, in his own words, he was fed up with his constant moaning.

Its on evenings like these that titles are won so in my eyes.
