Can't be doing a lot for the cash flow at the club with no gate income between now and December 26! Why couldn't the Morecambe fixture have been slipped into a Tuesday evening (perhaps 28th Novmber?) and also why no fixtures on Saturday 23rd December?

Maybe we'll get two money-spinning home replays against Oxhey Jets and Oxford Utd in the Trophy, who knows?

Someone mentioned to me the other day that there has been a significant drop in the attendances at the Wessex Stadium. He said that the home F.A.Cup tie against Bury attracted only around 2,400.

 

Bury probably don't take very many away but I would have expected a lot more of the Muff Faithful to have turned out for the Road to Cardiff.

Don't worry I've already been on their site to draw attention to the fact that Bury are so badly supported, I mean, yesterdays crowd was only about 2500 once you've taken out the 2400 that would have travelled with the muff that's a pathetic home gate.

 

They keep being rude to me though....

Most of the Muff fans appeared to be on the Conference Forum while the game was on. For a club that prides itself on its support that's a bit poor for such an important game.

 

It's not like there's much going on in Weymouth at this time of year.
