As soon as I heard Jarvo was signing for you I had every confidence that he would stay.............until the money ran out! Mercenary of the highest order (and a bloody slow one at that).

Official club statement: "The desire to join Slough is certainly not down to finance and many clubs, even as late as last night, have enquired about his signing but he wants to sign for Slough. He will win the support over by his performances and will give his all for the club."

 

Jarvis interview "I’ve always wanted to come to slough, I wanted to come to Slough when Browne was here, everything was agreed and then for some reason it all got switched off so I went to play for Hampton. I’m 35 now, still got a few good years left and I wanted to come back to Slough. It’s where I started."

 

Always knew it was bullshit. Good riddance.

When you read the clubs statement of 20th July 2006 it leads you to two possible outcomes:

 

1. that Jarvis came out with a string of lies about his reasons for wanting to join Slough - or

 

2. the poor judgement of the management and then going on to feed the fans total bull$hit, expecting them to belive everything that the club says and then to let the moron play for the club, and then bugger off when things did not go his way - or when Westy saw through him!!!

 

I was very clear in my reasons why I did not want him at the club and I have been proved right.

 

And to all those who said I was wrong - I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!

There's a post on the K's forum suggesting a lot of our players will be off soon, and that Jarvis may try and get in their ears.... posted by the man himself maybe? Wouldn't surprise me.

He'll leave you if you get relegated though...as clearly he's good enough to stay in the ryman prem dispite playing for two poor sides in 2 seasons. He needs to pick his next club alot lot better!
