It was a difficult game on a cold night. Only one team ever had the positive intention of winning the game and that we did. Even after missing a penalty we pushed forward and eventually broke them down. There were some very heavy tackles and it is likely that we shall have a few knocks to attend to. A few of their players pushed and shoved at the end of the game but only ammounted to "handbags". It was indeed a job well done by the lads and three points from a game in hand is very useful. This is our first "double" of the season and hopefully the first of many more to come. Sorry we had no goal fest but don't under estimate the lads efforts tonight.
