Great Game - Not great attendance!

With tonight’s big game in Glasgow it we’ll probably get Town’s lowest league attendance of the season.

 

I reckon there will be 185 at Brimmo with a 3- 1 win for Town.

Many teams would be happy with a gate of 218. However, we have been told that the budget was set with an expectation of 300 coming to our home games.

 

The club needs to do something to get those supporters back who sat at home watching the TV!

I believe it is the average attendance that the club has budgeted for. On a cold night like Tuesday against a club that isn't one of the big hitters in this league (no disrespect intended) you would expect the attendance to be below average.

You don't honestly think I meant 300 attendances over the season!

As mentioned on other forums, attendances are down during midweeks, especially when there is a total coverage of football on a lot of TV stations.

Town's avergage home gate is very nearly this season is nearly 300 (298 to be precise). We won't get high attendances against Wingate & Finchley and the Ilford atendance will be low. Our target average could be back on track over Christmas if everyone makes and effort to bring a friend or family member.

 

It could be better still if a few more people made an effort on the poster front!

You're right UU. In my calculation I missed out our opening day opponents AFCH! No offence UU -
