Good result for the jets, and another SSML team through. The ESL must be a real pile of pants, sorry but it must. Brentwood are top and unbeaten and we beat them 3-1, and Oxhey are nothing to shout home about. That said, teams will find it hard at Oxhey due to it being such a shithole of a pitch

Played in their red and black striped away kit - very avante-garde then! Many of those names were truly "great" players of their time, having won the League Championship the year before - much to the dismay of their more famous near neighbours (Oldham Athletic) Colin Bell and Francis Lee were my favourites.
