Sounds like a team you know, Gavin!

Sadly replay was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Rearranged date to be advised.

I was a bit put out by your leverstock v Edgware in Round 4 comment Gav. We could beat both Potton and them and then you for a glorious hat trick.

..
Sorry about that Lato, that was actually written when I had forgotten that Ruislip were in the draw, doh!!!

As you rightly say you could beat Leverstock away, no reason why you cant'[ I think you would have a good chance.

How about an all SSML final at Wembley

Nice thought..they'd have to lock the gates on it though such would be the demand for tickets......not!!

Regarding you tie, I saw halstead lose that replay at Harefield. Didn't think they had a lot about them. Not bad going forward but a bit ponderous at the back especially one lump of a centre half. However you never know in cup football!

..
No matter who gets to the final, if its at Wembley, there will be a much bigger crowd then normal, in fact I would not be supprised at all if it broke the recrod for an FA Vase final.

I think the record crowd is 9000

..
Ruislip? no, who??? go on give us a clue

Well, it sounds like Hertford to me! We ar equite good going forward (58 goals in 16 matches!) and have a big lump of a centre half! (the one who gave you the late penalty and saved the game for you)

I went to the '85 final. Don't know how many were there, but it was a very strange atmosphere as we all sat along one side, so were looking out at empty stands.

16,715..mind you two years later there was only 4,000 there for St Helens v Warrington..now that was surreal.

I used to go to all the vase finals at one time. Went to the Tamworth v Sudbury replay at Peterborough, when there was a fabulous atmosphere with a 10,000 crowd.

Sorry Gavin I didn't notice this thread had an earlier page, at least you can do Haringey Borough a favour by knocking out their conquerers Halstead Town, will you be going or is the Pope Catholic.

..and the 26,000 odd at Wembley certainly made some noise...Didn't go to the replay, but been to most since 75....the best being the 4-4 between Greseley and Guiseley in 91....

...
Where can you find a list of the attendances?

I have only been to several FA Trophy finals at Wembley. For some reason never made a Vase final, but I will do this season if its back at Wembley, no matter who are in the final.

Thanks Horace, dont know where you found that, but thanks

What a dramatic decrease in crowds since its moved away from Wembley. I found an article on the FA website that said it WOULD be back at Wembley, but this was from last season when then expected the stadium to be back open.

It makes sense to stage it at Wembley again, as I said interest would be higher then normal due to the new stadium, and I am sure even if the final was between two poorly supported sides, for eg Edgware v Leverstock that there would be a BIG crowd, I mean at least double figures.

AFC Sudbuy must be gutted, not only did they lose 3 finals in a row they never played any at Wembley and they never got a crowd of more then 8000 ( poor bastards

How come there is no crowd for last season? I heard it was around 5000 ish?

edit...how come the board lets me say bastards and not [****!!****] ?

Working on it now "as we speak" I'll be "all over you like a rash" with FA Trophy stats soon - you'll think all your Christmases have come at once, like a 5 year old in a sweet shop, like Rhodes on heat!

Ryan Redford 26, Kevin Cooper 24. 50 goals between them, and it's still November!

....

Yeah but cooperman never scored against Edgware did he?

Is that in all comps? Have you ever thought you could be [****!!****] if one or both get injured!
