Do Officials Ever Make You Feel Like Quitting?

From a fans' perspective, I feel many of today's problems arise due to the lack of liaison between referees and linesmen.

Very rarely does there seem to be any synergy between said parties.

The one thing that really pigs me off, is when the ball has gone out of play and the decision is contentious.

The lino will wait for the referee to make up his mind and then raise his flag to agree. They seem afraid of making decisions for themselves.

Two recent incidents did make me laugh though. Romford v Concord in the LC, Concord manager EC, berates lino for not making his mind up. Lino takes this to heart and gives virtually every decision in Romford's favour for the rest of the half!

And at Hullbridge last week when the handbags were flying, the ref stood in the corner with both linos by his side like they were waiting for the photo shoot to begin...Still on the plus side, it was good he actually involved them.

Right, where's me bottle opener...

"that managers do not get sacked bacause of bad refs." try telling that to a lot of managers at higher level.in this league there is no relegation so the referee must consider themselves lucky that can afford to make mistakes and "hopefully" learn from them, without financially affect that club..

Someone remove his blinkers. They do not get sacked beacuse of one incorrect decision. They get sacked cos their team are not doing well over a period of time.
