the great bowers robbery

so the concord contingent travelled in-land for the 'sadlers farm' derby and for the first 15-20 minutes were under the cosh from a lively bowers side.

however despite this concord took the lead against the run of play through michael hart who capitalised on a defensive error and then not long before half time a strike from danny greaves flew in from the edge of the box. he hadnt scored for 8 games which he was delighted to tell me after the game, hi danny greaves

second half concord had a couple of chances as we pushed for the game but for the majority of the half we were on top. we lost the game and didnt get a bollocking aftewards which does say something.

luke moore hit the underside of the bar and had one cleared off the line whilst pevers somehow hit the post and dave white missed from 3 yards.

good first team debut from nathan evans who to my astonishment did not turn up with his shin pads under his jeans and gave onebreast the run around

i thought i was still in a burnham shirt picking out trenkels chest with every kick

fair play concord take the points which is what its all about and they could even have had a couple of other goals in the first half.

smallsy final thought: some concord boys needs to strap on a pair of [****!!****] and tell their mrs what is what. hi danny heale

p.s. crfcyouth is actually a LEM and macca was on top form as ever. trenks's breath was struggling

p.p.s me and eddie have a blossoming friendship hi EDC

They only important part of that excuse of a match report was that we took the points

did we not have about 10 one on ones?

did you not Sh1t it on all crosses?

if we had a forward that was not as nice as harty he would have put you and the ball in the net aleast three times.

And it was Me, nathan evans gave the run around.

The only thing dean Allan won was the toss against me

Did you leace the club late?

Good that you can play a game like that and then all have beer after,

Thought the Bowers lads took defeat well.

Kasey - I only saw the 2nd half mate (couldn't put myself through the entire 90mins as looking at Big D was making me feel physically sick)

Thought B&P were the better side in the 2nd half - CR had a couple of opportunities, but better football was played by B&P (No. 7 was a decent player and their goalkeeper was LEM).

Trenks and Sixy were solid though and I always had the ffeling that CR could have upped it a bit more if necessary.

I was the best-looking person there, followed closeley by CRFC Youth.......last place was Healesy who was slightly uglier than his BROTHER, Ginge !

was a proper football match saturday. fair old crowd of 75 and a ding dong derby to boot. i feel had it been 0-0 for longer concord would have struggled after their recent form. fair play they took the points well done lads.
