i stayed in the pub to watch the rugby and met a couple of mates, think i am entitled to do whatever i like in all honesty, don't need someone telling me what i can or can't do.If i don't want to come to a match for one reason or another then thats up to me.Was at arseley tuesday night with another 20-30 urchins, where were the rest of the 400 then, doesn't mean they are any less fans than me or vice versa.IMO i think your stance on this is pathetic as it was merely a posting about booing and once again it has been turned around to make certain posters look like idiots for speaking their mind about a certain issue.
So i think that booing is ok under certain circumstances,so what??

well I don't and my opinion counts more than yours unless you wanna start paying the wages....

you will not boo our players in our ground rob and nor will anyone else......your opinion of your worth to our club is clearly not as valuable as you think...

hope you enjoyed your day in the bridge house...as you say...you can do as you like.....

we all can...

thank you,yes the bridge house was fine, met some old pals, bridgey and magsy, had a few beers, very nice indeed, thanks for your concern though, its much appreciated.

and so is your concern for our football club.....which revolves around your ego it would seem....

mind you...I should be more careful in what I say to you as you have after all been going there for 30 years....

whatever,i missed one game and i am really not going to worry about it,now if there is some underlying reason for this outburst just come out with it coz i think this is all bollox imo

we all know rob that there is a reason for these posts......we just wonder what your agenda is thats all....

ha ha,here we go again,no reason,i think that you think too much old bean,as i have stated a minute ago,i watch the game, have a few beers, speak to a few people around the club like fans etc etc and then go home. And if i miss the odd game coz i don't feel like it or have other plans then so be it,i can live with that!!!

and one other thing unc,my worth to this club is f*ck all,i just come to watch the game, have a few beers, bit of a sing song, see some mates etc etc
I have nothing to do with the running of the club, picking the team etc etc.

really.....could have fooled me and many others given the opinions that you have on here every 5 minutes,......

I even thought the eastside were not allowed to sing unless you gave them permission...

And as for ego's think you have me confused with someone else, mind you, there are plenty of other people down the club who seem to have plenty to say for themselves but thats another story.

20 years..are you sure....you must have had a break when I arrived 5 years ago cos for sure you were not down there then....I first met you in the glory 03's but no matter...we won't hold that against you...

and yes plenty of people at the club have lots to say for themselves...thats football for you but surely they do not condone the booing of our players do they......

name them and shame them rob....

did i not say on or off in the above thread unc.

When you first took over i didn't go in the bar as it was members only i do believe for a little while. All i have done is say that i would boo players should i feel they are not putting ANY effort in.I did not say i have booed a player but if i felt the need to then thats up to me,if people don't like it then tough but i control what comes out of my mouth no one else.

If you hear me boo then by all means come and have a word with me but until then i just think it is pointless getting into a slanging match with you.

I am not getting into a slanging match with anyone rob...

merely putting my point of view across which unsurprisingly just recently no one likes...we have never had booing of players at the bridge rob and we never shall....should you or anyone else do so I will leave the football club where I found it...in level 6...and then you will have good reason to boo...I will have no part of that sort of environment...its not what I came there for in the first place...

we do not need fans who boo players...

as for the clubhouse in 00...every one of our fans was welcome....it was only closed to visitors for 4 weeks whilst we waited for the non members licence...

ha ha...come on rob...we both know when you came down to the bridge...

Totally totally unreal - you've really exposed the true fabric of the footy club there Unc. Surely PAYING fans can generate and express their own opinions and attend games when they like ??? without the threat of the 'seniors' resigning. Come on, chill man, this is non league football, we're all in it together, and collectively we need to promote our interests if we're gonna sustain and grow the love for sport at this level.........even if that means slackening the reigns a little. Its a real turn off if freedom of expression is prohibited.....as is having a pop at 'who turned up when' ..... hell we should know. Differences aside, we all got the same interests deep down - the well being of our DEMOCRATICALLY run local friendly footy club.

I must say I find the airing of ones dirty washing in public quite amsuing through, especially first thing on a chilli monday morning.

it has nothing to do with surpressing forum opinions or attending games LOS...it has to do with booing players which I find totally unsatisfactory and want no part of...fans can boo players all they wish...as you say that is THEIR right....but I don't have to pay for it whilst its happening and I don't have to be there listening to it....that is MY right

that is my opinion which I am also entitled too...or is it just others that are entitled to them in your opinion...

totally agreed los, unc,as i said i do not want to get into a slanging match but it seems you want to ridicule the fact that you feel i came to the bridge only when the money turned up,this is total b*llox, there are only a few people i remember from before your time, one of those was our ex president,mr Bradshaw, whose funeral i decided to go to because i had always spoke to the man,in fact he was the one who i went to speak to to arrange my mums 60th birthday down the club (8 years ago),he told me to speak to shirley and it was arranged. You can make others think all you like that i jumped on your bandwagon 3 or 4 years ago,but the truth of the matter is that i used to go to around 10-12 home games every year from the age of about 10 but in all honesty i know that and it doesn't really bother me what you or others think.Think you know me well enough to know i couldn't really give a toss about others opinions
