Yes he has gone, what a [****!!****] stupid decision by whoever made it!

We are out of the transfer window so he has gone initally on loan as they can't sign him, they better be digging deep into their pockets that's all I can say!

I'm guessing he wants to go full time but their must be better places to do it and better clubs that want him

I think Hakim's departure may be a blessing in disguise (but how can he be allowed to leave, i'm sure i heard near the end of last season that he had signed a contract???). Was great to see Clarkey up front today in the position where he belongs and scores goals. How many has he averaged per game before this season? Lets face it we scored far more goals when Clarkey was playing up front with Simon last year, but i think we got lucky that Haks scored the goals when Clarkey was unavailable so we tended to rely on him too much. I think a partnership with Benyon is about to flourish.

R&D i thought were excellent going forward today and we would have lost had it not been for Bazza. Thought the Ref gave R&D the benefit of the doubt a bit too often ie, Saints committed 20 fouls to R&D's 6 and no yellow cards?????

Finally thanks to the very small minority of R&D fans who thought it would be fun to run riot in the city centre. I hope those responsible are victims of real crime one day and then realise how much they have wasted Police time and taxpayers money.

I'm sure I heard the same. I don't understand this at all. It should be simple enough. Either he is under contract or he is on forms. Even if he is on forms, isn't any move subject to a 7 day approach? And what sort of tranSfer fee could we expect if he under contract? He has to be worth £25k at the very minimum. And how can he move anyway, while the transfer window is closed?

He is under contract, he is only on loan at Weymouth because they can't sign him until the window (bit like what Peterborough and Wolves have done with them 2 Grays players)

We missed Hakim in the 2nd half today, his pace and skill really makes a difference, agreed that it's good to see Clarke in his natural position but he faded badly today and lost the ball too much in the 1st half.

The problem with Benyon as well is we've only got him until Jan, Bristol City may want him back then and I'm not sure if there is a ruling about loan signings in that you can't loan the same player 3 times in a season which is what we'd basically be doing.

Still think we need another central midfielder, I'm hoping that when the window opens we can get rid of some of the deadwood and bring in 2 or 3 quality players for the rest of the season, maybe we can do this with the cash that could be raised from a Hakim transfer fee!

Re:' he is only on loan at Weymouth because they can't sign him until the window '

Err not sure where you are getting your information from but I can gurantee that he is not on loan.

Wait for the facts to come out and you'll see it's not that straightforward and I imagine that CL must be feeling pretty gutted that we've lost our best striker ....a player he gave a chance.

good luck to haks allways gave his all for the saints ca'nt blame him for wanting to go full time

F*ck him there's a thing called loyalty and even if he wanted to go full time there's a protocal to follow, i'm sure Lord Lippy would've let him go if he really wanted to and went about things the right way.

OK. Let's forget a 3rd loan signing of Benyon and hope the people that run our beloved Saints splash the cash and sign him

If Benyon's full time at Bristol City would he want to, or even could he afford to become part-time?

Saying that, I don't really know what footballers at your level get paid (nor do I want to).
