Or to turn your argument around:

The right wing were forever screaming that politics should be kept out of sport when the boycott was to help the black majority in South Africa. Now that the white minority is on the receiving end the right wing are screaming that we should boycott Zimbabwe. They can't have it both ways.

Yes we should have made a stand, but it should have been months ago, not now at the eleventh hour.

The point here seems to be the reason the ECB have given for not pulling out of the game 'We have too much money tied up in it...we could lose millions and our sponsors won't be happy'

The corporate world has once again insisted that money comes before any consideration of human rights. Okay it probably wouldn't make much difference to the people of zimbabwe (black or white) whether its played or not, but if it wasn't for all the money involved, the ECB would have been a lot less insistent on playing

There is consistency EFMTFTV. You have difficulty with words with a 'g' in the last few letters. 'League' is spelt like that. 'Leauge' doesn't spell anything. 'Rouge' is spelt like that. 'Rogue' is spelt like that. There is probably one of those "i before e except after c" sayings that could help. They are called something but I can't remember what.

Anyway, back to the point.

Have you noticed that Tone's lap-dogs, otherwise known as the media, are encouraging debate about the cricket team and Zimbabwe. Does it occur to you that this deflects any discussion over whether H.M. Government should be 'doing anything' about Zimbabwe?

Perhaps we should send a U.N Inspection Team to find Mugabe's..........wait for it.........you know what's coming......... weapons of mass destruction, as a pre-cursor to going in to bomb the bstards. Oh, hang on a minute. There's no oil in Zimbabwe. Keep the pressure on those upper class twits who play cricket, then.
