I did not class my posts as juvenile by any means. I apologised if I had stirred up matters between HJA & CG, and even posted a comment that the "banter" should cease forthwith. So, I would be grateful if you would not include me in your generalisation of comments posted !

Without wanting to be pedantic, I did not say all posts were juvenile, I said further juvenile comments, and thus did not generalise.

So if your comments were not juvenile then you were automatically excluded. ooh we are a touchy lot , but I apologise that I made you put your strongbow down for a few minutes to respond to a post that I did not really need to make.

 

But today I would rather focus on the superb entertainment on the pitch, rather than the poor state of this forum.

Which has turned from sharp and witty banter to vindictive and petty minded squabbling.

 

For the record , I couldn't give a [****!!****] either way about George Best.

And as I never saw him play or had a drink with him, so I thought I was not qualified to comment or have an opinion. ( Oh [****!!****] Ive become petty minded now !)

I made that call on talking to people on other forums. They have had posts deleted because they did not meet with moderators or other peoples opinions on here.
This arguement over deleting posts has reared it's ugly head several times before, and I would have thought those "childish" actions would have ceased by now.
And I thought by now you would have ceased in these comments.

The decision was taken on the grounds of offensive posts and wasn't yours to decide.
Also, you should know by now that nothing is ever deleted,
merely moved to an alternative location.

If you have a problem with this, sent a message to the admins.

For the record, doesn't all the squabbling on here make this forum 'a laughing stock'???

I believe I have asked you before to post all my offensive comments for people to read. As I don't remember writing any(unlike another person here), I guess that's why they they have never surfaced!

John, don't you have a side interest in Dartford FC? I mention this because I saw you in Northfleet on their homecoming day. Would have thought that you would have been there. Or were you unable to get a ticket because of all the freebies that were distributed to non-supporters?

 

Also, our "American" poster didn't reply to a question I asked a few weeks ago. When was the last time you actually saw the Fleet play?

It would be interesting to know.

Sorry kmj, I must have missed that post. I last saw the Fleet play six years ago, through thick and thin, since 1955. Nice to see them doing really well.

Your issue tends to be with the deletion of posts by other people???
This, in turn, has normally led to disagreements between you and myself as we quite clearly have a difference of opinion of this.

Of course, the other problem is/was that we also have to bear in mind what the club do/do not like to see of their related forums.

Some of the drivel that is/has been posted in here, albeit not as much of a problem these days, really was/is better suited to other forums on this very same website.

The items deleted recently did include posts where personal insults were being traded and this is NOT what this forum is for. Therefore, where neccessary, it was removed.

As stated before, feel free to complain to an admin if you feel this is unjustified.

That goes for Harry J Allstars too.
