Extended contracts at Weymouth.

According to reports it would seem that Weymouth manager Garry Hill and coach Kevin Hayles have signed new contract that will keep them at the club until 2010.

Whilst many don't have a lot of time for Hill, (particularly non-Weymouth supporters) I am sure that this will ensure the long term stability, certainly at managerial level, at Weymouth.

As you know I have expressed on numerous ocassions my concerns as to whether Liam Daish was/is the right man for the managers job at Stonebridge Road. My views are really unimportant as the board clearly has the opposite view to me. Perhaps therefore, if he is the right man for the job now, the club should 'do a Weymouth' and offer LD an extention to his contract therefore ensuring the same level of managerial stability that Weymouth are clearly seeking to achieve. It will also deter other clubs, perhaps if rumours can be believed, like Swindon Town and force them to look elsewhere or pay-up significnat levels of compensation.

For all you or I know, the club may have already done this, so shrouded in secrecy are Liam's contract details.
