fundraising idea

I've just been speaking to a friend who is an Oldham fan. He was telling me that last season when the Latics were up against the wall they got the buckets out and stood outside Maine Road for a few home games. The thinking was that in a crowd of 30,000 + if they could get everyone to put in a pound or 50p they would make some serious money which they did. What's to stop us publicising this and doing outside Chelsea or Reading?

Alan was kind enough to give me your contact details so i'll be in touch before thursday when the trust is having a meeting at the polish club... alternatively if you can make it, it might be better for you to explain the ins and outs in person?
