Not really sure why you thought the referee was awful? Was it because he was doing his job properly?

And if the ref brandishes cards as willingly as they do on some Saturdays that isn't going to help much either.

 

Refs clearly choose not to use their cards much in the Capital League, which doesn't seem to me to be a bad thing.

 

Incidentally, one club is threatening to withdraw because they had a player sent off who now faces a 35 day ban. So either the player concerned was a very bad boy, or the ref wasn't aware of the Capital League ethos.
