last night...

2 hours to get there cross country down winding country lanes shrouded with mist and the wail of the bedfordshire werewolf in the distance (as it turns out she was at the game as well <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

 

bumpy old pitch and a swirling wind and the urchins nicked the result and stole back off into the dark night and the enveloping mist with the three points and no one saw us larfing..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

nothing was won or lost last night apart from 3 points but championships are ultimately won and lost on tuesdays nights at places like arlesey....

 

excellent performance form the lads and a great curry at the villa raj down the road from the ground who sponsor the home club....warm welcoming people at arlesey and you can see why they had only lost 2 games before last night.....a determined bunch....

 

well done to all of the hardy fans that travelled under difficult circumstances and well done to kell... who won his duke of edinburgh gold award last night..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

mind you we had to race out of arlesey after a bit of bovva with the locals!!
