guys... just wanna say that if the [****!!****] hits the fan, i would put my hand in my pocket, if that was what was needed...slough are a proper non league club with proper supporters, and deserve better than this.I can remember watching numerous games v daggers as a nipper(my dad took me) in the late 60's early 70's. 3-3 draw in an ametuer cup semi down at charlton stands out. Ive met a few of you guys over the last couple of years, and i reckon slough town are lucky to have such a loyal bunch. makes me mad when i see other forums and the crap posted about their own clubs, keep the faith guys, i really hope you get this sorted......rgds pete

I take my hat off to the fans, particularly those on this website, who have stuck by the club and name of Slough Town during the toughest times. Some would say this level of loyalty is daft but it's honest and takes bloody hard work.

If the management had chosen to really tap into the supporter base instead of knocking it and dividing people the future would have been much brighter.

Hope you all get another chance to put it right.

what has Martyn and Roy..done..kept it going for 8 seasons !!! hoping that some local help would be forthcoming, they have kept the faith, while others throw the stones in our fragile green house....

BTW spent in excess of a million pounds..not wisely yes agreed but never the less spent it...on Slough Town FC...

as he was the only one to step in at the end of the thornes reign ? and put his money into slough...and kept them alive ( even for 8 yrs !) more than we would have got...

The point is Chris, he has pissed away all the money he had to offer the club on laughable wages and bonuses that essentially achieved very little and by investing in porposed developments that were never going to get off the ground. If Deaner ends his association with the club at the end of the season for all his efforts and money he will have left us in an even worse situation, at our lowest league level in years and with an exceptionally bleak future.

In my view the reckless efforts to return to the Conference in the first two seasons were a waste of money. What we needed to do was consolidate and secure a long term future no matter what that meant in terms of results on the pitch. My frustration with Graham Roberts and Steve Browne as managers was that they had lavish budgets and produced ordinary results. We have had our best results in recent years when we have had less playing budget.
