Poor ref and just no luck today going forward! Think some people need to learn we are not going to win every game and we kept a cleansheet against an okay side away from home on a tuesday night. Good turn out for the game today aswell! Best bit of banter so far this season from the 1 Swindon fan in the ground which was go back to windsor and eat pate! Club house was like Freddy Eastwoods house complete with bars on the windows! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Bring on Bashley and avenge the first game of the season!

I thought it was a good end to end game. Swindon played well and deserved a point. Swindon have a nice ground and clubhouse and the people are friendly. There are also the best side I have seen this season.

The ref was ok by southern league standards.

Yes, Hammerman, it was nice to see and hear you all at Hunt's Copse last evening.

 

It was a good, hard game with a bit of controversy, and the score, I feel, was fair.

 

W & E have all the credentials to get promoted this season. You have a bite in the tackle and some very tough characters, especially at the back! Unfortunately, it is taking Marine quite a while to realise that just pretty football is not going to get them anywhere in this league!

Thought it was a really good game between 2 good sides. A draw was probably a fair result. We're certainly play worse and win games this season.

 

It was a nice ground with a exceptional tea hut, the burgers were of the highest standard.

 

Hopefully Bashley will lose tonight and we can close the gap at the top to 3 points on sat.

Thought we owned the first half and should have had it wrapped up by half time. Second half we came out, had a glorious chance to score and then stopped. Swindon then came into the game and could, and probably should, have got a goal.

We should expect to win every game in this league, we have a very strong squad, a good pair of goalscorers, we are scoring goals from midfield, our defence is getting tighter and there is little in this league to trouble us. We know we will drop points but why shouldn't we expect to win when we have such a good side.

It was just disappointing after the first half and that frsutration started to show in the team as well.

i am sure we will turn over the Bash as we owe them from earlier this season.

Wasnt there but note another two bookings,were they justified or not as someone says poor ref again. If we keep picking up yellows each week we will soon loose half the squad for 5 cards.could MAL issue a list like he did before with injuries,red,yellows etc, good info for fans.

Sounds a fair result on a long Tuesday night.

If the ref had been any good, or had the bottle, we very well could have lost a player or two in the first half. Off the ball niggles and late lunges apparent in our defence.

However i nthe second half breathing near a Swindon player resulted in a free kick.

Overall we should have finished it in the first half, didn't, and then nearly threw it away.

Overall a draw is probably fair.

Fuzzy, you are the most honest person I have read on this match. Nill - all and only one of our Supermarine lads taken to hospital with concussion! Playing hard will get you promoted. The ver best of luck!

Great Hospitality. Good Club House. Good Ground. Thought Swindon would have a few more fans. As for the game I thought it was going to be a difficult close one and it proved to be the case. Both teams fought with grit the first half should have been ours and the second half theirs. Even if there had been goals I think it would have been a draw. 4-4 anyone!!! Another good dogfight and we didn't lose which is the main point. Let's beat the BASH.
