Hopefully after today the pitch will be ok. The pitch technicians are due in today to use the earthquake machine and slitter again. Perhaps Tea bar Mark can give us an update.

The sad thing about what i saw last night was Ramsgate seem to lack confidence in themselves, to the point they have to play the so many first teamers again. Are they so insecure.

The earthquaking was sucessful today at HDP, the vibrating blades went down 1 foot and broke up the compacted layer which is preventing the pitch from draining well. The grooves are visible at the moment but Ray has just dragged the pitch with a wire mesh to smarten things up.

Four or five first team players? Well we had Greggs who has been injured for a couple of months, and two trialists, Danny Moore & Steve May.

Did not see Louis Smith playing. Trotty and SCS are also recovering from injury. Bagley has just been warming the bench at the moment (but greater things to come). Anyway how long has May been on trial now?

Have too agree with you Cookie, I have only recently started coming to see the reserves, but have noticed Bagley has plenty to say about other players performance, he ought to be looking at his own. That showboating miss was terrible, and getting himself booked for petulance, doesn't help is image either, and as for mouthing off at Trott, that certainly won't help his cause. A bit of an advanced ego I think.
