Funnily enough Rob, I was reading my March 1999 issue of Q Magazine just this morning, and they did a piece on the 10 Best Prog-Rock albums of all-time, and King Crimson made it.

you can say that about most genres where originality is slavishly exploited for profit eg Hip-Hop, Dance and rock! How many times do we say cor they remind me of.................

Not asking you to like, everyone is free to choose. I used to hate it when much younger, but then again I hated Heavy rock also. Was brought up Listening to a fairly obscure combo from Liverpool. How unfortunate that you should quote Mr Daltry and Mr Townshend today! I never had any platforms by the way. I was listening to Black Sabbath in the 70s.
