Trophy or Conf??

Good to see a bit of constancy in our last 5 league results, 3 wins and 2 draws. With teams at the top of the table losing points lately, let’s hope we can keep going and make up the gap. Just wondering at the end of the season, when everyone looks back to see what we have achieved, what would we really want this year. Would be great to have another day out in Birmingham but what about the Conference, as we haven’t done that. This has been discussed on occasions in the past but a good cup run may hinder our chances in some way in the league, what with injuries, suspensions. With the recent results of the top teams in our division, this must be another great chance to go up and maybe a choice has to be made what we should really go for. Saying that, Burton got to the semi final and easily won their division, although were the other teams in their division bad.

I think both are possible but in a little bit of lateral thinking the new conference set-up would not allow a double trophy winning side to miss-out on membership

i think the conf... you want to be at that level pending any regional splits that look likely to happen in the next couple of years .. especially if div three is involved

It's got to be promotion. The year we won the trophy, I would have taken the championship any day. The day itself I wouldn't have swapped for the world, but the actual end result wasn't as good as knowing that next year we would have been in the Conference.
